Starting in 2023, Solari Communication designed, developed, and wrote IRPs for three California utilities: the City of Vernon Public Utilities, Turlock Irrigation District, and the City of Glendale Power and Water. In addition, Solari worked with twelve member utilities of the Northern California Power Agency to develop internal planning documents to ensure an adequate supply of both firm and variable renewable generation to meet California requirements.

Solari, in concert with Ascend Analytics, mapped a plan to meet forecasted peak load and energy requirements while complying with myriad California requirements, especially the state’s Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) of 60 percent renewable generation by 2030 and their 100 percent zero-carbon energy requirement by 2045.
